This specialized MLD massage focuses on your full body (neck, face, scalp, arms, hands, abdomen, legs, feet and back) moving your lymphatic fluid out so it can be filtered and removed from the body.

What is MLD?

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized massage that uses strategic, light, rhythmic movements that guide lymphatic fluids to your lymph nodes to be filtered and removed from the body. 

Think of your lymphatic fluid as a garbage truck that goes around and collects all the garbage and brings it to the depot (your lymph nodes) to be sorted (filtered) so it can be disposed (removed). So, what happens when the garbage truck goes on strike or never comes? All that garbage (waste) won't be collected and starts to pile up, causing many problems. 

This can show up in the body as inflammation, pain, hormones that are out of wack, brain fog, gut issues, edema, infertility, high blood pressure, unregulated nervous system (anxiety/depression), skin/sinus issues, migraines, poor immune system and many more aliments. 

Once aliments start to show up, this is your bodies way of telling you something needs attention, and most likely, it's now chronic. 

Most of us think of "natural" healing with taking supplements or more natural remedies but if your lymphatic fluid is stuck and stagnated those remedies are just getting stuck too and adding to the pile (garbage) that isn't getting picked up by the garbage truck. 

That is why MLD is so important to help move the stagnated lymphatic fluid to the lymph nodes to be filtered and removed from the body so we can promote our bodies natural way of healing, by cleaning it self.
